Human Rights Conference (2011)

The 2nd AsiaPacific Outgames Human Rights Conference was held from 16 - 18 March 2011.

The conference organizers were very interested in capturing the spirit of the event and so a Legacy team was established to investigate possibilities.

During the conference I was one-of-two roving interviewers; chatting with participants about what had brought them to the conference and their own experiences with human rights issues.

We recorded over sixty interviews with participants over three three days. We also were able to record all of the keynote presentations, plus a number of the concurrent sessions.

I was then commissioned to post-produce the material and prepare it for internet delivery on the legacy website, and for deposit with the Lesbian and Gay Archives of New Zealand.
