Douglas Lilburn CD box set (2002)

I was part of a small team who worked to publish a boxed set of 10 audio CDs titled Douglas Lilburn: The Landscape of a New Zealand Composer.

I originally co-produced the series with Roger Smith for Radio New Zealand. We made the series following Douglas' death in 2001. It contained a large amount of archival material - both speech and music, plus contemporary interviews with Douglas' family, friends, and colleagues.

The release on commercial CD was managed by SOUNZ - The Center for New Zealand Music, with generous grants from the Willi Fells Memorial Trust and the Lilburn Trust.
